Date: Sunday, February 25th 2018  at 5 PM - 9 PM

Address: 397 Kent St, Ottawa, ON K2P 2B1

This event is being organized with the vision to help improve the connections between the Syrian refugee community and mainstream society in Ottawa. As the vast majority of Canadians have welcomed Syrian refugees to the country with open arms and hearts, we wanted to have a way to enable Syrians in Ottawa to give back to the larger community.

The event will feature a night of Syrian culture with performances from:
-Local Syrian band (Arabesque)
-Children for Peace will perform Syrian dance and songs
-Dancing group performing traditional Dakbeh
-Traditional Syrian dishes sale made by Ladies for Peace
-Art exhibit featuring children’s and youth art with an auction to be held at the end of the event.
