Successful Lecture on Autism, Behavioral Disorders, and Hyperactivity in Ottawa

On Saturday, April 11, 2026, the city of Ottawa hosted an engaging and informative lecture titled “Autism, Behavioral Disorders, and Hyperactivity,” attended by more than 20 participants, including parents, community members, and professionals.
The lecture was delivered by behavioral specialist Abeer Lababneh, who addressed key aspects of Autism Spectrum Disorder, behavioral challenges, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). She highlighted the importance of early diagnosis and effective behavioral intervention, and shared practical strategies to help families support their children in developing social and behavioral skills.
The event took place at 200-14 Concourse Gate in Ottawa and was organized in collaboration between Humans for Peace Institution and Nurest Treatment Centre, as part of their ongoing efforts to raise awareness and support families within the community.
Participants actively engaged throughout the session, asking questions and contributing to meaningful discussions, reflecting the community’s strong interest in these important topics.
