Humans for Peace Institution Presents Fraud Prevention Workshop for Seniors

On Saturday, July 11, at 10:00 a.m., Humans for Peace Institution will host an educational session titled “Empowering Seniors Against Fraud” at Westpointe Retirement Community, 164 Maravista Drive, Nepean, Ontario.
This interactive in-person presentation will help seniors stay safe and confident in today's digital world. Participants will learn how to recognize online scams and phishing emails, create stronger passwords, use social media safely, protect personal and financial information, and understand how to recognize and report fraud.
The session will last approximately 60 to 90 minutes and is offered free of charge to all participants.
This initiative is funded by the New Horizons for Seniors Program – Government of Canada and reflects a commitment to supporting seniors through education, awareness, and community engagement.
Humans for Peace Institution welcomes seniors and community members to attend this informative and practical workshop.
